If you're looking for an absolute thrill in Central Switzerland, Beromünster Airfield is the place to go. The experience begins with a roughly 15-minute climb, offering an impressive view over Central Switzerland all the way to Mount Pilatus and the Rigi. Once the drop altitude of just under 4,000 meters is reached, the moment that changes everything arrives: Together with an experienced tandem instructor, you leave the plane for a roughly 45-second free fall. You’ll hurtle toward the earth at a speed of about 200 km/h—a feeling of absolute freedom. After the parachute opens, you’ll glide silently back toward the earth for a few minutes, enjoying an exclusive view of the sparkling lakes around Lucerne.
