Reichenbach Airfield serves as the launch site for one of the most spectacular skydiving experiences in Europe. The adventure begins with a scenic flight as the plane takes you up to the jump altitude of about 4,000 meters above sea level. Even during the ascent, you’ll enjoy views of the Niesen and the deep blue waters of Lake Thun. As soon as the door opens, the moment of pure adrenaline follows: you’ll hurtle toward the earth at about 200 km/h for roughly 45 seconds alongside an experienced tandem instructor. During this descent, the snow-capped flanks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau will be right in your line of sight. After the canopy opens at an altitude of about 1,500 meters, the action transforms into a gentle glide, allowing you to fully enjoy the tranquility of the mountain landscape above the Kandertal valley.
